Dive into the world of tire production and learn all the essential production and engineering processes we use every day.
What You’ll Learn:
- Tire Production & Rubber Technologies: Get hands-on with tire production processes, rubber technologies, and material flow.
- Shop Floor Experience: Spend time on the manufacturing floor to understand day-to-day operations.
- Manufacturing Programs: Learn about specific manufacturing programs and their impact on central projects.
- Central Team Collaboration: Work with our central team to gain technical knowledge and understand the tire business.
- Department Rotations: Rotate through different departments to see how they all work together.
- Networking: Build connections throughout the plant, central functions, and with international trainees.
- Performance Indicators & Reporting: Get introduced to manufacturing performance indicators, analytical tools, and industry standards.
Your profile
- Profound theoretical background in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Quality);
- Advanced English knowledge;
- Intercultural experience through international internships or during semester(s) at an university abroad;
- Strong ability in analytical/structured thinking;
- Project Management experience represents a plus.

eXplore Tire Manufacturing & Engineering Graduate Program
Duration: Up to 18 months
Phase 1 – Practical Experience (10–16 months):
- Start with hands-on experience in tire production.
- Work in a real production setting.
- Tackle your first project at the plant.
Phase 2 – Central Placement (6–9 months):
- Join a graduate pool in Hanover with peers from around the world.
- Participate in exciting projects and learn about tire development and our global business model.
- Attend technical training programs to gain new skills.
- Use your soft skills and build a global network.
- Gain insights into research and development processes for tires.
- Collaborate on a global business contract with other graduates.
- Present your project results to top management.
