As a Demand & Supply Balancing Intern, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Analyze large data sets involving inventory, sales, forecast, safety stock targets for the markets within the Americas and translate it into meaningful dashboards
  • Refresh existing KPI dashboards
  • Evaluate bottlenecks and help lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain processes
  • Build/Maintain dashboards to track KPIs/Stock Targets, etc.
  • Assist the team in retaining knowledge and information through documentation of processes and procedures 
  • Other ad hoc projects as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program for the next 12 months
  • Student working towards a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Analysis, or related field
  • Available to work a minimum of 20+ hours a week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri), 60% of those onsite at our Tire Headquarters in Fort Mill, SC
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher
  • Minimum Sophomore standing or higher
  • Intercultural sensitivity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong Excel proficiency
  • Willingness to learn
  • Team player
  • Some exposure to project management techniques
  • Well organized and ability to work autonomously
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
