Our IT Competence Center Manufacturing leads the digital transformation of Continental’s tire plants around the world — and we’d love for you to be part of that journey.
In this role, you will join our global IT team dedicated to optimizing production planning and sequencing across our manufacturing network. Working closely with our business partners, you’ll help us continuously improve processes, increase production performance, and ensure we can meet customer demand efficiently and reliably.
You will collaborate with colleagues from our tire plants as well as experts across the company to:
- Design and implement new digital capabilities
- Evaluate and test innovative technologies
- Bring ideas to life — from concept to successful rollout

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to a global agile team to enhance our production planning systems and processes
- ABAP development with a strong focus on the PP and PP/DS modules in SAP S/4HANA
- Testing, deploying applications for our tire manufacturing plants
- Providing 3rd level support
- Working closely with IT colleagues across different domains as well as internal stakeholders worldwide
Tvoj profil
Qualifications
- A university degree in computer science, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of hands‑on experience as an SAP ABAP developer
- Knowledge of SAP PP, PP/DS, or EWM is an advantage — especially in an S/4HANA setting
- Solid skills in ABAP OO (required) and familiarity with CDS, RAP, or AMDP (a plus)
- Experience working with agile frameworks such as SAFe
- Confidence in navigating an international, multicultural environment
- Professional English language skills in both written and spoken communication
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, including occasional international business trips
