Overview of the role:
We are looking for Software Engineer who is extremely passionate about front end and backend software development for our wide range of cloud-based web / mobile B2B & B2C products targeted towards a wide range of industries and applications. You will be based in our new ground-breaking innovation hub with an atmosphere of start-up and get an opportunity to work and collaborate with internal and external technology specialist in areas of AI, IOT, VR/AR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test to meet requirements
- Apply latest software design methodologies - design patterns, static/dynamical code analysis, ensuring pragmatic, clean and sustainable code implementations
- Participate in the project from conception to finished product to analyze technical risk and provide mitigation strategies and solution options
- Staying abreast of developments in areas of backend app development technologies
- Code and Test to meet requirements as per the design and architecture laid out
- Produce high quality code.
- Participate in all agile ceremonies
- Support build and deployment
- Responsible for unit testing
- Adhere to all development guidelines and best practices

Requirements:
- Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Node.js as the backend technology
- Strong experience in working with Microservice Architecture
- Experience in Front end technologies like Angular is a plus.
- Good experience in working with AWS cloud platform
- Good experience CI/CD tools and methodologies is a plus
- Experience in using various relevant tools for Unit Testing, Code quality etc
- Other skills
- Experience of agile software development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Great team player and ability to work in a highly international team
- Willingness to learn new things
- Experience working in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins etc
Experience
- 3+ yrs of experience overall
- 1+ years in AWS services
- 1+ years in CICd topics using Jenkins, JFROG or similar
- Knowledge experience with Web Technologies like Angular is a plus
- 1+ years in using tools like Sonarqube, Datadog, Appdynamics, Firebase, Fastlane etc
- 1+ years in Agile delivery
- Terraform knowledge is a plus
- AWS certification is a plus
Education
- BE in engineering with focus on computer science / software engineering
- MCA with professional experience
- Other relevant education streams with strong tech experiences can be considered
