Controlling Business System Specialist - (SAP Central Key User)

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Primary responsibility of the Controlling Central Key User (CKU) is to be the liaison between the business and IT functions for the Americas region.   The Controlling CKU focuses on providing advanced solutions through SAP and various BI systems.  They support by leveraging their knowledge of general business processes and advanced computerized systems' solutions.  This position is part of a team with colleagues located around the globe to better support topics as they arise with a focus on the Americas as primary support region. 

  • Provide guidance to business & plant controllers on system related matters
  • Train Local Key Users (LKUs) on business processes and system solutions
  • Support training of end users through LKUs
  • Advise management on SAP software best practices and solutions to business challenges
  • Collaborate with IT to resolve system issues
  • Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials
  • Support Americas project and change requests from business for all controlling topics
  • Manage user authorizations

Tvoj profil

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or IT related field
  • 5+ years experience in Controlling, Finance, Key User, or Business Analyst field
  • Prior experience in SAP controlling modules in product costing in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of other SAP modules impacting controlling (FI, SD, MM, PP, TMS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, TEAMS)
  • Strong analytical skills required to translate business needs into system requirements
  • Experience in project management
  • Ability to work both independently in complex environments with diverse teams on system solutions
  • Travel expectation of 10-15% of time
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is only able to offer visa support for internals individuals who currently hold an existing valid employment visa
  • Can offer a relocation package for internals only and open to a sign on bonus if needed for external candidates

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT 

  • MBA or related
  • SAP certification
  • Spanish or Portuguese proficiency a plus
