Application Engineer Precision Sealing Solutions OESL (m/f/d) - REF80903Y

We are looking for you, an Application Engineer (m/f/diverse), to support the Precision Sealing Solutions (PSS) in our Business Area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) at the location Northeim.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

• Execution and monitoring of project-specific development activities within product application engineering
• Development of products according to customer specifications
• Execution of the technical, project-specific customer service
• Acquisition of new projects in cooperation with the sales department
• Completion of all deliverables for Application Engineering specified within the project management system (Quality Gate System)
• Documentation of all project activities of Application Engineering in the project management system PLANISWARE
• Elaborating/evaluating feasibility checks for RFQ utilizing multidisciplinary teams
• Support for new and change management projects in the PLC from Gate 10-90
• Analysing and improving existing products
• Support of sales and project management in customer service

• Academic degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Several years experience in the automotive industry, including customer interaction
• Experience in direct customer contact
• Knowledge about OESL related products in design, production, testing
• Experience in research and development as product development engineer, design engineer or project manager
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated
• Experiences in international and intercultural environment
• Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
• Very good German language skills (written and spoken)
• Strong team player and good communicator at various levels
• Willingness to travel
