HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Cold Prep Operator is responsible for the operation of the equipment that produces body ply, breaker. wire chafer and slit gum components for the commercial operations in this facility. The Operator II is responsible for ensuring quality components, ensuring adequate stock, controlling proper inventories, troubleshooting, and maintaining machines. You will add value to our team by:
• Reacting quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary condition and must notify supervision whenever such conditions occur.
• Monitoring on and offline quality systems to ensure components meet specified quality standards.
• Following required SOPs (standard operating procedures) and WI (work instructions) while performing necessary tasks to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production, follow plant Safety policies, Plant policies, Environmental policies, and follow all 5s practices keeping working areas neat, clean, and orderly.
• Communicating with internal customer and suppliers, support personnel, crew members and supervision.
• Leveraging manufacturing systems CGMS and EWM to ensure proper workflow and quality needs.
•Participating in business team meetings, follow-up on efficiency and losses development, improvement of OEE/TEEP, performance goal setting and ensure the CBS approach is being applied within the cross functional business team.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Degree or High School Diploma
WorkKeys Test Score- Silver Rating (4 - Math, 4 - Work Place Documents, 4 - Graphic Literacy)
1-3 Years Manufacturing Machine Operator Experience
ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
Able to lead and foster teamwork.
Able to read and understand specifications, follow written and oral instructions, Able to work with limited supervision.
Knowledge of Computers
Experience preferred using PIV (powered industrial) vehicles.
Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts – days, nights, and weekends.
