The OESL IT department is newly conceived and being built now! With this pioneering effort, OESL IT will be flexible, fast, and forward-thinking. Our IT team will become a strategic advisory partner, strengthening digital capabilities and driving business success.

In your role as Global IT Team Lead Cybersecurity Management Systems, you will work in a dynamic environment and modernize and optimize the OESL Cybersecurity framework, system landscape and service provider portfolio with us. The role handles the relationship towards our business customers as well as to our internal and external suppliers for all Cybersecurity related topics. You will be an integral part of the OESL Cybersecurity team, with responsibility for approximately 10+ FTEs.

Your responsibilities:

General responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing our global OESL's Cybersecurity team within the working area Governance
  • Ensuring seamless operational support for all required services across all global sites and user groups
  • Engaging internal and external support teams for covering project and operational needs
  • Contributing to the preparation of the relevant Cybersecurity strategy derived from the overall OESL Business and IT strategy
  • Preparing budget plans and forecasts according to financial perimeters
  • Developing qualification plans for you and your team members according to business and IT needs as well as initiating the measures mutually aligned

Specific responsibilities

  • Concepting and realizing an adequate Information Security Management System together with profound reporting mechanisms for creating the needed transparency to Business and IT about effectiveness and efficiency of Cybersecurity measures
  • Provisioning of a central Cybersecurity rule landscape
  • Preparing reliable and efficient rules and controls for enforcement across all OESL departments, hubs and locations
  • Ensuring regular reviews & updates about the relevant documentation
  • Establishing a comprehensive Risk Management tool / tool set
  • Contributing to the establishment & management of Business Continuity Measures based on Risk Management tool / tool set
  • Defining audit guidelines to fulfill requirements of external audit frameworks in the automotive sector e.g. TISAX, IATF
  • Provisioning a central training platform for creating awareness about Cybersecurity threats and phishing attacks

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field; Master’s preferred
  • Several years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity
  • Proven expertise in these working areas and related work processes
  • Extended skills in vendor management and experience in managing outsourced operations
  • Strategic view on working closely together with best-of-breed service providers for this working area
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to manage global teams
  • Extended problem-solving skills, with a focus on governance aspects
