RnD Group Leader Product Development Truck & Bus Lousado

We are looking for a Group Leader Product Development T&B of commercial Truck & Bus tires within the framework of production planning according to quality, cost, complexity, and timing goals.

You will be responsible to support the industrialization of new, transferred products and validated new technologies; to ensure high quality products and drive new portfolio development in cooperation with Product Management and the markets and to build up market understanding knowledge and support of feasibility studies.

Will be also your responsibilities to lead, to develop and to coach tire developer engineers in technical matters and project set up.

Responsibility for product development of Truck-Bus Radial tires products worldwide including APAC.

• Mechanical engineering or comparable scientific or engineering education / background
• Solid Project Management experience
• Desirable experience in R&D function (>3 years) in Project leading experience
• Leadership Experience (preferable)
• Engineering understanding and judgement
• Truck tire market understanding (preferable)
• Intercultural competency along with clear and open communication abilities that support the growth of diversity
• Strong problem-solving ability as well as strength to bring topics forward
• Analytical and structured thinking
• High customer focus and excellent interface management competence
• Capability to lead cross functional teams
• Solid computer skills and Office tools.
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken);
• Availability for travelling internationally.
