The Business Area Original Equipment Tires is the home base of ContiKit. These compressor sealant kits are the modern way to restore vehicle mobility in case of punctures.

Become part of our worldwide ContiKit team as a ContiKit Development Engineer (m/f/diverse).

• With your comprehensive experience in project management, you will manage development projects with our international development partners and suppliers and ensure completion according to customer schedules
• In close interaction with your key account colleagues and other supporting functions, you will translate customer specification into requirements for our suppliers, maintain internal product specific documents and execute the product release processes
• With your extensive technical understanding and your product know-how, you are the contact person for our suppliers as well as for your sales colleagues in technical matters
• To support the industrialization of the products, you travel to the production sites and find the best solution together with our suppliers
• You will evaluate test results and will create valuable insides for future development activities
• Reach, GHS, RoHS, CE are no foreign words to you, as you know the high demands of the automotive business
• Your ability to think outside the box makes it easy for you to understand the concepts behind competitors’ products. Furthermore, this skill enables you to protect our proprietary technologies through strategic patent applications

• University degree in natural sciences or similar
• Multiple years of professional experience in the automotive industry
• Comprehensive experience in project management and cooperation with suppliers, in an international environment
• Experience with processing of test data desired
• Very good English skills (written and spoken), ideally knowledge of German language
• Willingness to take over ownership in a very independent working style
• Analytical cognitive abilities and systematic method of working
• Good communication skills, flexibility, and willingness to travel
