Data Driven Applications

  • Contribute to the success of OESL's data driven applications by ensuring proper governance and alignment across data domains

Implementation and Optimization

  • Implement and maintain IT-managed reporting use cases end-to-end (from data curation to report creation).
  • Continuously support business and IT stakeholders in coordinating between data domains to maximize the benefit of data driven insights.
  • Act as a trusted advisor supporting developers of data products and data domain owners throughout the complete data product's lifecycle.

Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure data usage is compliant and in line with relevant policies and regulations (e.g. GDPR)
  • Establish governance models that support the OESL organization to make best use of its data

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to foster strong partnerships in the domain of data warehousing and reporting.

Profil kandidáta

We’re seeking a skilled Data Steward to ensure governance of our Data Driven Applications / Data Products by actively shaping ways of working, fostering strong domain alignment and supporting the evolvement of our platforms.

Key skills and expertise include:

 

  • Communication: Benefit from your strong communication skills and collaborative attitude when working in cross-functional teams. This includes but is not limited to alignment between data domain owners.
  • Data Governance & Security: Familiarity with central regulations (e.g. GDPR) and common data governance approaches.
  • Quality Focus: You have a quality-first mindset and are highly motivated to develop tools and governance structures to improve our data quality and business continuity in the long run.
  • Data Analysis: Highly motivated to understand data from different sources and domains, work on harmonization and common reporting strategies.
  • Data Driven Applications: Experience with design, setup and operation of  reporting use-cases (e.g. based on Power BI) or data processing pipelines is a plus.
  • Agile and DevOps: Knowledge of collaborative workflows and modern deployment practices.
