We are seeking an experienced SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant to design, implement, and optimize warehouse processes within SAP. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP WM configuration, integration with logistics modules, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement SAP WM processes including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, picking, and physical inventory.
  • Set up warehouse structures such as storage types, sections, bins, and handling units.
  • Design and optimize warehouse processes to meet business requirements using SAP best practices.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, and interfaces.
  • Ensure seamless integration between WM and other SAP modules — particularly MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and QM (Quality Management).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse processes with procurement, production, and delivery workflows.
  • Provide post-implementation support, resolve incidents, and implement system improvements.
  • Analyze warehouse operations and recommend system-driven optimizations.
  • Work closely with business users, warehouse managers, and IT teams to gather requirements and design effective WM solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and process design sessions with logistics and supply chain stakeholders.

Profil kandidáta

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP WM implementation and support.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP WM configuration, master data, and warehouse control processes.
  • Experience with batch management, handling unit management, and inventory management integration.
  • Familiarity with interface technologies (IDocs, BAPIs) for third-party systems (e.g., WMS, scanners).
  • Exposure to barcode scanning or automation systems integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in project-driven environments.
