Senior Operations Legal Counsel (TM)

As a key member of Continental Global Law Department working from Timisoara, Romania, you will lead the development and implementation of global legal standards and projects, to promote consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all jurisdictions.

This role is responsible for creating and maintaining legal frameworks, driving strategic legal initiatives, and managing cross-functional legal projects.

The position of the Senior Operations Legal Counsel includes the following:

▪ Establishing and maintaining comprehensive legal standards and policies that align with international regulations and best practices;
▪ Monitoring, interpreting changes & advising the organization on legal requirements and implementing necessary adjustments, national and international level;
▪ Standardization of purchasing and sales terms and conditions together with regional teams and other relevant stakeholders;
▪ Provision of legal advice on general terms and conditions and standard contracts;
▪ Systematization and ongoing review, creating & updating of the standard contracts;
▪ Develop, plan and execute legal trainings for business colleagues;
▪ Facilitate communication and coordination among global legal teams; 
▪ Lead and manage strategic legal projects; 
▪ Identify and mitigate legal risks in collaboration with senior leadership.

• Full qualified Romanian lawyer or legal counsel, with passed Bar exam or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an international company and/or law firm or multinational contexts;
• Solid knowledge of civil law, EU law, contract law, business law, labor law;
• High motivation and commitment;
• High level of persuasiveness, outstanding communication and negotiation skills, result orientation, team orientation, business understanding;
• Strong relationship management and client satisfaction;
• Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and within ambitious deadlines;
• Excellent command of English, German is a plus;
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
