Intern - Material Testing

The Material Testing Lab needs an intern that will support various functions, which include:

• Conduct physical / chemical testing of rubber and chemical raw materials
• Support in natural rubber processing for optimization of the processing parameters
• Carry out at least one technical project, then summarize in a report and present the work done

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or related field.
• Experience in computer skills including use and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Minitab skill is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;
• Ability to communicate clearly with various personnel to share/ gather information.
• Effective time management skills
