Inspector II (Grader)

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Perform tire grading and quality inspections to ensure compliance with Continental and global quality standards, classify and disposition off-standard products, and support production quality processes. Maintain accurate quality records, operate bead heating equipment, and uphold all environmental, safety, and quality management requirements.

• Inspect, grade, and classify tires to ensure compliance with Continental quality standards.
• Determine disposition and next process steps for off-standard or non-conforming tires.
• Evaluate tires returned from uniformity, balancing, weighing, and over-inspection processes.
• Accurately enter and maintain quality-related data in grading systems.
• Identify quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions, including notifying stakeholders and stopping equipment when necessary.
• Operate bead heating machines according to established procedures.
• Rotate across shifts as needed to support production requirements.
• Follow Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Maintain knowledge of Continental quality standards, off-standard catalogs, and applicable QMS certifications and requirements.
• Be self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressure
• Follow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years' experience in manufacturing
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
