We are seeking an experienced SAP EDI Consultant with hands-on expertise in SupplyOn integration to join our SAP team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and support electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions for seamless communication between SAP and external business partners, particularly in the manufacturing and automotive sectors.
This role involves close collaboration with internal business teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure efficient and reliable B2B integration processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement SAP EDI interfaces for key business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Delivery, and Invoicing).
- Manage end-to-end EDI integration between SAP and external platforms — with a focus on SupplyOn.
- Develop and maintain mapping, communication, and conversion rules using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, or middleware.
- Ensure data consistency, error handling, and monitoring of EDI transactions.
- Collaborate with business teams (Procurement, Sales, Logistics, and Finance) to gather EDI requirements.
- Coordinate with trading partners and SupplyOn support teams to establish and test data connections.
- Manage onboarding of new suppliers/customers and EDI connections.
- Monitor EDI message flows and resolve transmission or data mapping errors.
- Perform root cause analysis of interface failures and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support SAP functional and technical teams during rollouts, migrations, and upgrades.
- Maintain detailed documentation of EDI configurations, mappings, and partner setups.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and customer EDI specifications.
- Participate in testing cycles (unit, integration, and UAT) and provide end-user support where needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience as an SAP EDI Consultant or Integration Specialist, including hands-on work with SupplyOn.
- Strong understanding of SAP EDI processes and IDoc architecture (Inbound/Outbound).
- Experience with different integration tools for EDI mapping and communication.
- Hands-on knowledge of SupplyOn platform (business processes, setup, and partner communication).
- Familiarity with SAP modules: MM, SD, PP, and WM (integration points for EDI).
- Knowledge of communication protocols (AS2, OFTP2, SFTP, HTTP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities for working with business users and external partners.
- High attention to detail and process orientation.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
