Intern - LiDAR Mechanical Engineer

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The LiDAR Mechanical Engineering Intern will be responsible for the following:

• Work closely with our senior and lead mechanical engineering team to support the R&D concept of a lidar series production calibration station
• Support engineering leads within the team with basic CAD work, material procurement, and fixture assembly
• Other responsibilities, as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Student currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Able to work a minimum of 20+ hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
• Minimum sophomore standing or higher
• Must have and maintain a 2.8 GPA or higher
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Able to come onsite to our Carpinteria, CA location
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
