Process Engineer - Hot Preparation

Convert product and manufacturing requirements into process specifications. Responsible to monitor, maintain and continuously improve the process performance with respect to process capability, efficiency and scrap.
Responsible for Process Engineering tasks in specific area - Hot Preparation and interfaces within Business team and other areas. Position has direct influence on machine performance, process stability and product quality, Manufacturing system.
- Recipe Management: Inserting of recipes into equipment, maintaining and optimization of recipes, documenting of recipes
- Creation of process related documentation, performance reports, book of requirements, guidelines, work instruction, process speciation
- Cascades and implements standards and requirements to department processes
- Participates in external and internal audits, develops and implements improvement plans
- Follow up quality KPIs and enables corrective and improvement actions
- Ensures Productivity - Implement processes that produce efficiently to the required output and to specification.
- Ensures Production Quality - Implement and maintain processes that produce products to required quality objectives.
- Implementation of corrective actions to reduce scrap, rework / work off and increase stability, efficiency and tire yield
- Conducting structured problem solving, incl. lessons learned documentation and implementation
- Ensure that training relevant material exist, is shared and updated all time
- Support and take over responsibilities of process industrialization according plant and central release procedures and requirements
- Conduct all necessary studies to monitored and document process stability
- Initiate activities to ensure process performance on required level with respect to efficiency, stability, scrap level
- Create process documentation, work instruction, training relevant material and train the trainer
- Final process approval with respect to efficiency, stability and scrap level
- Training and development of associates - all levels
- Process stability, implementation of process improvement and reduce process variation
- Process risk assessment with continuous improvement
- Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards
- Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others
Reikalavimai
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field
- 5 years experience in Tire manufacturing environment
- 3 years experience in relevant area eg. Mixing, Preparation, Extrusion, Building, Curing and Final Finish or Automotive industry Business.
- Project management knowledge
- Managed small group of employees over a period at least 2 years
- Ideally had exposure to international projects or worked in a cross culture environment
- Good command of English
