YOUR TASKS

The HR Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department by managing a wide range of administrative, operational, and employee relations tasks. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, managing time, administering benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and acting as a key point of contact for employee inquiries. The HR Coordinator is also involved in conflict resolution, benefits enrollment, and processing important employee information within the HRIS system. Additionally, the role requires maintaining confidentiality, promoting a positive work environment, and supporting the company’s compliance efforts through proactive monitoring and reporting. The HR Coordinator works to ensure that HR operations run efficiently, that employees are supported, and that the organization adheres to all relevant regulations and company policies.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and confidentiality standards.
  • Manage benefits enrollment, process status changes, and provide ongoing support to employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and issues.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries related to policies, benefits, and workplace concerns, while ensuring clear communication and timely resolutions.
  • Manage and update employee data in the HRIS system, leveraging technology to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency within the department.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations by maintaining up-to-date records, preparing reports, and supporting audits to ensure the company’s compliance.
  • Assist in addressing and resolving employee conflicts or complaints by following company procedures, ensuring confidentiality, and providing guidance as necessary.
  • Follow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as safety glasses, hearing protection, safety glasses as needed
  • The job is within a climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Associate’s Degree in Human Relations, Business Management or related field
  • 2 plus years experience in Human Relations, customer service or employee relations role
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
  • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity
