Maintenance Technician (BMD2 6AM - 6PM)

Supporting production needs, this Maintenance Technician position addresses the service needs of all equipment. Generally, this involves operating common tooling, documenting repairs and may involve more than one of the following: pneumatic, hydraulic electrical systems at a basic level. Able to practice 5S and the need for “everything has its place”.
1. Able to understand equipment needs and perform repairs with minimal to no supervision.
2. Perform Preventive Maintenance functions daily/monthly/quarterly 
3. Continuous improvement suggestions and recommendations based on repair trends.
4. Ability to accurately and effectively document repair work and hours within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: none
• Technical Skills:
  • (Basic Level) MS Office 365 Package and understanding in learning and practicing.
  • Other Skills / Abilities: Lifting devices. Ability to follow Safe Practices as dictated by Company protocol, LOTO, NFPA70E, RCRA, DOT and OSHA10. Work as a team member and understand the importance of the Customer; e.g. 5Y.
  • (Preferred) Basic mechanical or electrical skills, knowledge in computerized management systems (CMMS) like Cogz, SAP PM etc. Basic knowledge in OSHA10, NFPA70E, LOTO, Aerial lift, RCRA.
