In your position as "IMDS Coordinator Product," you are responsible for executing, coordinating, and supporting the IMDS activities in the whole Business Area.

Your main tasks are:

  • IMDS process ownership for supplier IMDS;
  • Define, establish, and support a standardized process for the creation, validation, and submission of IMDS;
  • Create and establish documents to give guidance (e.g. how-to, guideline, handbook, checklist, etc.);
  • Manage incoming IMDS requests and adhere to customer timeline;
  • Evaluate supplier IMDS submissions, and follow up with suppliers to submit the correct IMDS;
  • Manage the creation, validation, and submission of IMDS reports and understand each customer’s unique requirements;
  • Analyze IMDS data and determine if they are acceptable under the current IMDS criteria; manage corrective action with support from material experts;
  • Training of IMDS users;
  • Define, establish, and improve continuously the tools and methods to execute the IMDS process with a focus on efficiency and quality (e.g. digital tools, usage of Artificial Intelligence, etc.);

Must have:

  • Technical education (e.g. M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing., Ing., Dr.);
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the automotive industry;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in R&D or Quality;
  • Advanced knowledge of the IMDS system;
  • Knowhow of automotive-specific rules and standards, in particular, IATF16949 CSR, REACH, Directive on End-of-Life Vehicle; 
  • Fluent English language skills;
  • Independent working ability and assertiveness;
  • Communication and moderation skills;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Project management skills.
