The Warranty Expert is responsible to support the warranty management process for OESL with major focus on APAC customers. These activities include evaluation and negotiation of relevant requirements, field monitoring and warranty cost negotiation in alignment with international standards, customer requirements and strategies of the ContiTech Deutschland GmbH and Continental AG

Major tasks and responsibilities:

Support collection, evaluation and communication of customer warranty data (external and internal data)

Support Field Monitoring for assigned customers

Drive negotiations of warranty cost with assigned customers

Support Warranty contract review

Support Warranty Management related Trainings

Support alignment of test plans with customers

Support follow-up of customer warranty requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or similar, alternatively more than 5 years working experience in automotive business with direct OEM customer contact, ideally with additional business skills
  • Detailed knowledge of regional warranty requirements (e.g. Field Failure Analysis, Recall Procedures, Field Monitoring, …)
  • Basic knowledge of data management and related IT tools
  • Basic technical knowhow of CT OESL products
  • Basic knowledge of IATF requirements
  • Basic understanding of Legal requirements
  • Ability to transfer statistic knowhow into technical problem solving
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and local language of assigned customers (written and spoken)
