Process Engineering Team Lead

Your tasks

  • Leading and coordination of the Process Engineering team in Preparation areas to convert product and manufacturing requirements into process specifications.
  • Ensuring to monitor, maintain and continuously improve the process performance with respect to process capability, efficiency and scrap.
  • Drive continuous process improvement (standardization, efficiency, stability) in Preparation areas
  • Drive optimization of productivity and quality in Preparation areas.
  • Escalation in case equipment, tooling & process requirements are not suitable for achieving product requirements.
  • Initiation and implementation of corrective actions to reduce scrap, rework / workoff systematically.
  • Enhance data acquisition and - utilization to increase transparency of production processes (enabler for scrap/rework-reductions).
  • Understand the correlation between production processes and manufacturing systems and scrap attack activities.
  • Identify and escalate inconsistencies and errors in manufacturing systems and processes to prevent scrap.

Your profile

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Process/Engineering/Manufacturing / Science or other related fields.
  • 3 years experience in Tire Manufacturing Environment, 2 years experience in relevant area eg. Mixing, Preparation, Extrusion, Building, Curing. and Final Finish or Automotive industry Business.
  • Project management experience.
  • Managed small group of employees over a period of at least 2 years.
  • Work experience in international groups & projects Effective communication.
  • Able to communicate in English, good in writing and speaking.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Good command of English.
