C&D Engineer (Automation)

Your tasks

Maintains and continuously improves electrical production equipment, electrical spare parts and Controls & Drives systems in the production area in order to reduce machine downtime, maintenance costs and scrap level.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties.
  • Transfer knowledge to all Electricians (Craftsmen) in order to ensure best maintenance practice for controls and drives systems.
  • Support the startup of new equipment and ensure on electrical production equipment Control and Drives standards.
  • Interact with supplier to maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
  • Maintains professional and technical Control and Drives knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks. Train and participate to the evaluation of electricians in the area.
  • Maintain an updated Control and Drives documentation in the area (electrical plants, troubleshooting guides,etc…).
  • Protection, Creation of Backups and Maintenance of control system software, such as IPC's, PLC's, Drives, Communication Devices, etc.
  • Ensures a proper diagnostic of electrical problems, repair and restart of production machineries of the area of responsibility in case of breakdowns.
  • Manage Control and Drives equipment spare part in cooperation with Purchasing Department.
  • Ensures the implementation of the local Maintenance strategy (focusing on MaintainME and including SAP PM, interfaces with other departments.
  • Able to supports 24/7 for troubleshoot required by Remote access or On-site to fulfill production plans.
  • Ensures and develop for Controls & Drives standards for installations or upgrades.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Had an experience with international contacts through projects, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • 0-10 years of Controls and Drives (Automation) experience in the manufacturing industry, the tires business is an advantage.
  • Experience in machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade or installation projects.
  • Has participated in Maintenance, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
  • Had knowledge of Beckhoff PLC, Siemens PLC programming, Step7, Tia Portal, Win CC , SAP, Beckhoff PLC, Automation Network.
  • Ability to read the electrical drawing.
  • Good communicating of English.
