Head of Industrial Engineering - Tires

Join our team as an Industrial Engineering Manager and help drive efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations through effective planning, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the employment of efficient IE ­methods for cost improvement in production according to default targets, in line with the allowed budget and with consideration to quality, cost, quantity and date targets;
• Analyze, evaluate and realize the optimal function for fulfilling the work tasks according to the employee ­ machine relationship with consideration to social, economical and ecological basic conditions;
• Ensure process, plan and standardize times in collaboration with production and other departments for creating wage and performance systems;
• Decide on changes and introduction of work organizations and layouts and their effects on wages and performance systems;
• Ensure the availability of IE­ data, guidelines and factory agreement to the management;
• Ensure and fix middle­ and long-­term personnel planning including the product calculation in collaboration with the production and controlling department;
• Develop a yearly production plan (daily, monthly) in consideration with seasonal effects (market requirements, holiday plans) in collaboration with sequencing, scheduling, management;
• Develop production plans in collaboration with process control and the Production department.
• Provide IE ­data for economic feasibility studies, budget planning and strategic concepts;
• Ensure future development of processes and material handling in collaboration with the Production department;
• Ensure the analysis and reporting of process comparison, capacity reports and benchmark projects to the management.

• University degree in Engineering or a similar technical field;
• A minimum of 3 years leadership experience working in an Industrial Engineering or Process Engineering role in an international environment;
• Project Management experience­;
• A strong understanding of Lean Production and Continuous Improvement principles;
• Good financial understanding (investment & capacity planning, HC, capital request);
• Good planning and organizing skills;
• Excellent influencing and communication skills;
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
