The Product Specialist provides quality technical support in RFQ/RFI activities to secure our business position.

• Provide expert consulting on development projects.
• Support to define Product Line roadmap, future concepts and platforms.
• Coordination with cross functions on technical solutions.
• Ensure relevance through continuous monitoring of market trends, technology changes, competitor solutions, legal requirements and norms.
• Identify and develop needed competencies of product specialist to support current and future products.
• Understand customer pain points, identify market use-case and decompose in technology that should be implemented.
• Build business case with business development.
• Understand what customers want, drive Conti towards that
• Define: Protocol, technology trend, offer to the customer.
• Evaluate internal solutions – guardian of performance, keep an eye of solutions, timing.
• Consolidate the view, part to evaluation of new uC, peripherals, HW acceleration.
• Provide consulting support to ensure quality implementation in development (D3) projects.
• Provide product related trainings/orientation to internal teams.
• Support complex system related task force or error investigations.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise in Automotive Networking Architecture, Infrastructure, Protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, Technical Expertise in Automotive Networking Architecture, Infrastructure, Protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, etc.)., Ethernet, etc.).
• Evaluate new technologies (uC, peripherals, HW acceleration) in the area of Networking and their suitability for Automotive"
• Project Management, Development Process, Business Development
• Automotive quality requirements, quality processes in Design and Manufacturing related methods and tools, problem solving skills
• Leading people and organizations related HR processes and methods, target setting and coaching
• Leading multiple functional units, large teams, executives, managers, projects and individuals; experience in leading projects and commercial functions (international focused)
• Variety of functions, products, general management, program management, product development
• Electronic product development knowledge and electronic manufacturing processes and limitations, technical and commercial project execution
