The Controlling Specialist is responsible for the following processes:
Budgeting:
Planning time table
Headcount planning
Overhead cost planning per cost center
Cost center budget consolidation and review
Structural Changes
Plant cost structure
Statistical and allocation keys
Assessment cycle and cost center hierarchy
FIRE input
Forecasting:
Cost center review
Cost update for risks and opportunities
Forecast presentation
Period End-Closing:
Cost journal entries
Set-up/ reverse of accruals
Reclassification of accounts
IFRS tool update - leasing
Period-end closing SAP processing
Cost center analysis - trend and variance
Support FSCP on FIRE validation error
Financial Performance Review
Headcount report analysis
Fixed and Asset Management:
Investment
Capitalization
Termination and disposal
Asset transfer - internal and intercompany
Asset Lapsing Schedule
External Audits:
End-to-end process review/ walkthrough
Schedule and details of operating expenses
Detailed listing of leases/Rights of Use Assets
IFRS 16 worksheet
Detailed listing of Property Plant and Equipment (PPE)
List of Purchases and samples
Transaction Summary Report
Contracts list
List of signatories
Others:
Standard Indirect Store Withdrawal
Creation of cost centers & cost elements
Archiving of Documents (including accounting docs)
Cost Savings Initiatives
CEOS Matrix update based on P20.1
CEOS review and approval
ePR review and approval
Equalization
Open PO tracking
eSR in compliance with P20.1

- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any business-related courses
- Professional experience (at least 3-5 years) in controlling or financial planning, and analysis.
- Experience in the automotive business (approx. 2 years) and understanding of the automotive environment.
- Experience with SAP.
- Understanding of different foreign cultures (NAFTA, Asia, several European cultures)
