工作职责
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Prototype & OES Quality Engineer to join our team in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of prototype development and the production of the OES (service parts) for our automotive manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement quality control processes for prototype development and testing.
- Program CMM for all new projects and changes to projects.
- Ensuring incoming components are received and identified, prepare quality documentation required for each run.
- Ensure the builds are using the current revision levels .
- Manages the in-house lessons learned process and leads all quality issue requests.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential quality issues.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality problems and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prototype requirement and OES quality. standards. his includes signing off all prototype paperwork before shipment of parts. It also includes collection of documentation required for customer submission.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve product quality.
- Create and maintain quality documentation, including test plans, reports, and procedures (Prototypes & OES).
- Liaise with OES customers to address quality concerns and ensure compliance with their requirements.
- Continuously improve quality processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on quality-related aspects of new prototypes.
- Train and mentor team members on quality control techniques and best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Advance knowledge on CMM programming.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with quality management systems and automotive industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional / international teams.
- Fluency in English; (interview will be in English).
- Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Proven experience with prototype development and testing processes.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites or other company locations.
