Internship Accountant with German GBS (TM) - CTBC
Your tasks
As an Accounting Intern supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR), you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This position offers hands-on experience in core accounting processes, exposure to ERP systems, and collaboration with experienced professionals. You will contribute to maintaining smooth workflows, supporting month-end activities, and assisting the AP and AR teams in achieving operational excellence.
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of invoices.
- Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end closing activities for AP.
- Provide assistance to the AP team in daily operations, including handling queries and preparing reports.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, follow up on invoice transmission, and send invoices to customers.
- Record incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
- Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections.
- Support month-end closing activities for AR.
- Provide assistance to the AR team in managing customer accounts and resolving payment issues.
Your profile
- Ongoing university studies in economics/finance;
- IT skills MS Office, SAP FI is a plus;
- English - Intermediate;
- German- Advanced,
- Analytical and logical thinking;
- Initiative / pro-activeness;
- Self-motivation, positive attitude;
- Willingness to work in an international environment;
- Team player attitude.
