IT Test Management Specialist – Business Applications

Join our dynamic Information Technology team as IT Test Management Specialist in the Business Applications department. In this pivotal role, you will support application implementation projects and IT product teams across different areas (e.g. HR, Purchasing, Finance, Sales) with your test management expertise.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Development of project- and application-specific testing strategies having the whole application lifecycle in mind;
  • Planning, coordination, monitoring and tracking of all testing activities before and during the project testing phase to ensure a smooth test execution;
  • Regular reporting of the testing status and progress to project management;
  • Planning, coordination and monitoring of regression testing activities before bigger software changes and version upgrades;
  • Definition and continuous enhancement of test management methods and standards for OESL IT
  • Identification, evaluation and selection of suitable tools for test management and test automation at OESL IT;
  • Coaching and consulting of project and product teams regarding test management methods and tools
  • Providing user trainings for different test management tools;
  • Communication of test management best practices across OESL IT and key business stakeholders.

Requisitos

Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, business administration or a related field;
  • Several years of professional experience in software testing and test management;
  • Profound knowledge of testing strategies, defect management, test data management, test case creation, and test automation;
  • Solid knowledge of and hands-on experience with different test management and automation tools;
  • Strong analytical and structural skills;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Business fluent in English (written and spoken);
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of working in a multicultural, distributed team environment;
  • Experience with agile methodologies is a plus.
