Mission/Purpose of the Position

 Assure quality conformance by implementation of product controls, prevention measures as well as containment of potential non-conformances for semi-products and finished goods from Mixing until product delivery to the customer including all semi and finished products of PLT Plant Rayong. Metrics: customer & field complaints ratio, Quality incidents management, successful structured problem solving.

  • Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties
  • Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others
  • Ensure quality inspection policies and procedures are followed throughout the production and product process, fulfilling customer and internal central requirements
  • Decide on final disposition of off-standard products, in cooperation with PI and Process Team
  • Measure and evaluate process and product key quality characteristics, e.g. via over-inspection at the required frequency and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken when required
  • Assure compliance to IATF 16949, legal, customer and internal requirements in own area
  • Participate in internal and external audits and support the corrective actions following the audits
  • Implement and maintain process for regular usage of related Quality tools (e.g. FMEA, CP, A3, 8D)
  • Manage, lead direct reports, train and develop the staff
  • Implement processes and projects to drive prevention of incidents in the manufacturing area
  • Support the problem solving culture in the plant by ensuring high quality of structured problem solving in own area
  • Preparation of regular quality reports (control charts, trend charts…)
  • Lead activities in the performance of special evaluations of product and process characteristic

Requisitos

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related fields
  • 3-5 years experience in Tyre Manufacturing and Quality Management
  • Minimum 2 years experience on leading a team
  • Good knowledge of IATF16949 system, management process, and quality audit
  • Experienced in Project Management
  • Familiar with lean management and quality management tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, etc.)
  • Fluent in English and Excellent communication skills.
