The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and adheres to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Collaborate with other departments to fulfill internal material requests.
Requisitos
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with inventory software and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
