Python developer internship for Automotive Operations and Technology - Iasi

Our team is responsible for a reporting tool that provides a visualization of integrated data from two internal tools, stores it in a centralized database, and enables data visualization through Power BI. Additionally, the tool features a web interface developed using Django (Python), allowing users to view and edit audit-related data.

The responsibilities include:
• Supporting the development and enhancement of the Django-based web interface;
• Assisting in maintaining the data integration from different data sources;
• Helping manage and query the backend database;
• Contributing to Python backend development using OOP principles;
• Supporting deployment and containerization using Docker;
• Learning and supporting basic AWS infrastructure tasks related to the project.

Job Requirements:
• Studying (final year or master) at a technical university (e.g.: Informatics, Automatics and Computer Science, Electronics, Electrotechnics or Telecommunications);
• Good knowledge of Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP);
• Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL);
• Hands-on experience with MCV/MVT;
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to quickly learn complex systems and new technologies;
• Very good English skills, that will enable an efficient communication with our international colleagues and clients;
• Curiosity and passion for understanding "how things work" and "how to create things that work".

Would be a plus, if you have:
• Familiarity  with the Django web framework;
• Hands-on experience with unit testing in Python;
• Experience with Docker and container-based development;
• Basic knowledge or any kind of experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS);
• Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
