Descrição da função

 

  • Work closely with finance, legal, and business teams, provide tax support for APAC locations, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations (especially with regard to corporate income taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, and other local taxes)
  • Monitor updates in local and international tax law changes, assess impacts on the group and business operations, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze tax implications of cross-border investments, trade, and profit allocation, and develop tax optimization strategies
  • Assist in Transfer Price Pricing and resolving tax disputes
  • Participate in tax projects, e.g. HTE, liquidations, mergers, acquisitions and restructurings, etc.
  • Provide guidance on tax incentives and subsidies available in China
  • Conduct regular tax health checks and internal audits to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate with international colleagues and external tax advisors on tax matters
  • Liaise with tax authorities, external auditors and consultants to address tax audits and provide audit support
  • Strengthen internal tax controls to mitigate potential risks

Requisitos

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in international tax, preferably within a global organization
  • Strong knowledge of international tax regulations, tax compliance and transfer pricing
  • Experience in handling complex tax projects, including M&A and tax audits
  • Proven experience in working with tax authorities and external advisors, managing tax matters in multiple jurisdictions
  • Familiarity with common software tools in a tax and finance environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Verbal and written language fluency in English, fluency in Mandarin is mandatory

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all tax-related matters for APAC locations, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations, and driving tax optimization strategies. You will work closely with management, external tax consultants, and fiscal authorities to provide guidance and lead key tax projects across multiple location.
