Special Investigations Auditor - Internal Audit Automotive

Within our Special Investigations Team at Internal Audit Automotive, you provide professional fraud investigation services including forensic analytics for the EMEA region (participation in other regions as well) with focus on risk management, internal controls and corporate governance in all legal entities, business areas and central functions of the Corporation. The goal is to strengthen fraud prevention and perform case investigation (incl. forensic analysis) and evaluation on (potential) fraud cases identified.
- Be part in special investigations teams or take the lead for special investigations with a focus on the EMEA region, but partially also support our teams in APAC and the Americas.
- Develop recommendations to strengthen anti-fraud controls and to improve controls and efficiency of areas being audited.
- Perform conclusion meetings regarding the fraud investigation outcome with Central and/or local management.
- Carry out follow-up as to implementation status of recommendations contained in reports.
- Cooperate with authorities for potential criminal investigations.
- Provide solutions concerning various operational fraud risk issues.
Requisitos
The successful candidate must possess:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, information technology, or engineering.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience, with no less than two years specifically dedicated to audit or investigation-related roles.
- Demonstrable experience in at least one operational function or auditing services. Proficiency in project work is imperative.
- International exposure, either through working abroad or extensive experience in a global business environment with a high degree of intercultural sensitivity.
- Exceptional English language skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
