Tire Uniformity Technician

- To perform a daily monitoring of Uniformity and Balancing yields and scrap, checking and making corrections in the processes according with specification if needed and taking samples to verify effectiveness of adjust.
- Drives Tire Uniformity (TU) related activities in the plant from QM side on shift basis

- Display daily uniformity yield and trend by curing press to find out any size and/or curing press-mold with low yield at least 2 times per shift to control yield trend.
- Perform Tire Building check list in machines with low yield according with kind of defect (RFV, Conicity, etc) and take tires  after verification and/or correction to cure and test in TU machines

- Perform daily check and update of arrows position and mold changes, ensure that operators follow right position.
Verify curing press-mold conditions in presses with low yield according with kind of defect (RFV, Conicity, etc) and take cure tires after correction to test in TU machines.
- Report any actions/activity done and register in look book to follow up by next shift Uniformity Assistant
- Follow up material conditions, example: get tread profile scanner or check center line in tread in sizes with conicity problems.
Optimize molds ( 4 positions)

Reports to TU Engineer directly. Measurable indicators of the function - GQSC KPI's: OE TU Virgin yield; Plant internal KPI: Scrap 4 Uniformity related

Vocational degree or above in technical section

2 years experience in Tire manufacturing is advantage

Ensures TU/ TG/ TB Yield are achieve target. Provide the analysis and drive team for yield improvement. Ensures that new articles introduced are meeting targeted warehouse yield at SOP via optimizing yield at the Initial Specification development phase.
