Mechanical Engineering Intern

As an Intern, you will be involved in a Master Data project performing a variety of hands-on tasks that include using CAD software to revise or create new part drawings, creating product bill of materials as well as developing standard operating procedures (SOP’s), documenting routings and data entry. You will play an integral role in improving the location’s Supply Chain Management system and product costing. You’ll also have exposure in a real-world manufacturing setting with a Global leader in the hydraulics market.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent (HSE)
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Engineering
• General knowledge of computer drafting software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous manufacturing experience

This internship begins in Fall 2024 and will continue through 1st semester. There is a possibility of an extension pending budget impacts.
