Module Owner - Process Design & Digitalization (SLM System)

Descrição da função

The department Process Design & Digitalization located in Hannover (Germany) and Lousado (Portugal) shapes and drives the process digitalization of our worldwide R&D organization.

The Module Owner must translate business requirements concerning digitalization into efficient IT solutions in the R&D system landscape. The aim of the Module Owner is to provide efficient and sustainable digital solutions in the R&D Tires system landscape with focus on the specification lifecycle management system.

Main Responsibilities:

Process Design & Digitalization

  • Coordinate iterative processes from concept design to final provisioning of digital solutions with focus on own module;
  • Align and harmonize business requirements of various stakeholders as well as steer all involved functions;
  • Develop and create future picture of own module;
  • Continuously improve digital solutions and/or processes connected to own module to ensure quality and efficiency gains;
  • Support the organization in testing and training of new digital solutions;
  • Act as contact person for R&D IT and stakeholders within area of responsibility.

Project Leadership & Management

  • Lead and/or participate in operational and strategic process digitalization projects;
  • Contribute with work package delivery to projects.

Requisitos

  • Academic degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Natural Sciences or comparable field;
  • First professional experience in an R&D environment within a global organization (desirable);
  • Strong interest in driving digitalization topics;   
  • Experience in project management and tools, is beneficial;
  • Knowledge in programming language(s) and data analytical methods, is beneficial;
  • Self-motivated and result oriented team player who enjoys working in multicultural, performance and target oriented groups;
  • Strong stakeholder orientation, willingness to learn, to act and to take responsibility;
  • Ability to handle complex tasks;
  • Very good communication and networking skills;
  • Proficient English language skills (written, verbal).
