Production Operator | Air Springs

Process the assembly of new air springs as well as the disassembly and refurbishment of used air springs.  Testing and validation of assembly is required as well.

▪ Locate and secure various part combinations based on current specification being produced
▪ Read and interpret detailed work instructions paying attention to the specific details listed within
▪ Have the abillity to operate basic test equipment
▪ Have the ability to lift 50+ lbs or more
▪ Have the ability to torque bolts to 100+ ft-lbs across an entire shift

▪ Work in an environment where safety of the operator and other people in the area is paramount
▪ Operate a fork truck safely in condensed spaces
▪ Fill out daily/weekly safety checks

▪ Ensure the quality of the parts being used and built are of good quality
▪ Follow defined work instructions for each product being assembled or refurbished
▪ Communicate with colleagues in a safe/professional manner
▪ Work in SAP to obtain specifications and scheduling information
 

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Knowledge in Lean production/CBS principles, methods and tools
