Head of Finance & Controlling, BestDrive Norway (m/f/d) - Executive (based in Oslo - Norway)

We are looking for a Head of Finance & Controlling to lead and further develop finance, accounting, controlling and risk management for a nationwide retail organization with strong growth ambitions.

In this role, you are a trusted financial advisor to senior management and the Board, and a key contributor to strategic and operational decision-making as part og the management team.

Key responsibilities:

As Head of Finance & Controlling, you will:

Take overall responsibility for finance, accounting, controlling, cash and risk management
Lead budgeting, forecasting and high-quality monthly reporting
Drive profit-oriented business steering through strong analysis, KPIs and insights
Ensure compliance with legal, statutory and group requirements
Lead and develop a finance organization with direct leadership responsibility
Support strategic initiatives such as integration, M&A activities and network development
Act as a key sparring partner to the Managing Director and part of management team

University degree in business management (or a Masters in Economics) or equivalent qualification.
6+ years of experience in an accounting and/or controlling function, preferably in a retail organization or similar
Strong business understanding
Proven leadership experience with a good knowhow to build an effective team, build accountability and drive performance.
Experience with budgeting, reporting, cash management and internal controls.
Experience in leading strategic projects (M&A or Integration) and working in multinational environment is considered as an advantage
Fluent English in an international matrix environment; Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is a strong advantage.
