Core Responsbiltiies

Responsible for the supervision of Maintenance Technicians ensuring that all individuals are trained and cross trained on production equipment, safety procedures, quality, and production functions. Responsible for the maintenance of assigned production lines and for the Maintenance Technicians assigned to support this function. Assign people and organize the work force to ensure production schedules are met with the most efficient utilization of manpower to reduce downtime and accomplish preventive maintenance program. Prepare and document records for efficiency, scrap, quality, and safety. Responsible for appraisals, training, absenteeism and tardiness tracking for Maintenance Technicians. Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program to cover all pieces of equipment.  Ensure maintenance and machine history and preventive maintenance documentation are current. Provide input into the hiring of new people and the transfer of existing employees.  Work closely with Employee Relations function to assure fairness and conformity in the administration of company policies and procedures, rules, and regulations. Anticipate product and line changeover requirements and plan accordingly. Assist Engineering to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. Assist Engineering with minor engineering changes to programs and documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate's Degree, Trade or Technical School

5 plus years of maintenance and/or repair experience specific to this position. 

Must have experience leading individuals in a manufacturing environment 

Experience in high volume assembly environment.

PLC programming
