Coordinate actions and resources to ensure that the implementation of new technologies related to Fleet/National Account programs in the Americas is successful and sustainable.
Furthermore, ensure support and service KPIs [ITSM] are achieved along with compliance of security and data protection guidelines.  Additionally ensure appropriate levels of documentation that are within audit requirements.

General oversite/review of technical design and implementation of Enterprise level Java web application
Continual assessment of near shore/off shore external development partners with target of balancing lowest cost relative to quality of delivery.  Preparation of budget along with evaluation and approval of external partner invoices/charges.
Disciplinary responsibility to mentor/coach team members (leading 6 direct internal team members along with coordinating external development team members with maximum team size of 25)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, IT or similar AND 7+ years related professional experience OR 14+ years related professional experience if no degree
  • This position is only open to current internal Continental employees. We will not consider external employees at this time.
  • 7 years development experience, ideally with Java Spring/SpringBoot
  • 3 years experience project management
  • 2 years experience in participating in multicultural teams
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will sponsor current Continental employees for employment visas now or in the future for this opportunity.
  • Continental is able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years experience in leading multidisciplinary work teams
