Responsible for leading and executing general engineering projects with a strong focus on automation and electrical systems, from concept through implementation. This role involves developing, specifying, and industrializing manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems, ensuring performance, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

 

Main tasks/deliverables:

  • Lead cross-functional industrial projects (CAPEX) with emphasis on automation and electrical integration;
  • Define and specify machines, equipment, manufacturing layouts, concepts for manufacturing, etc;
  • Develop and integrate automation and electrical systems, including PLCs, drives, sensors, HMIs, and safety functions;
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, contractors, and on-site execution;
  • Manage the full project lifecycle: concept development, technical specification, supplier selection, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and ramp-up;
  • Prepare technical documentation, RFQs, CAPEX and project management documentations, book of requirements, and ROI analyses;
  • Drive process improvements focused on quality, productivity, safety, and cost efficiency.
  • Definition Machines, components, equipment for manufacturing process as well as working places of manufacturing;
  • Perform gap analysis on existing equipment and implement modernization initiatives;
  • Support energy optimization initiatives and sustainable manufacturing solutions.

Votre profil

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering;
  • Strong experience leading industrial projects (CAPEX), with emphasis on automation and electrical systems;
  • Solid knowledge of industrial automation, electrical systems, and process control (PLCs, drives, sensors, HMI, safety systems);
  • Experience managing the full project lifecycle: specification, supplier selection, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and ramp-up;
  • Strong analytical skills, project management capability, and systemic vision;
  • Ability to work across disciplines with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach;
  • Advanced English level;

  • Collaboration and teamwork in cross-functional and multicultural settings.
  • Experience in the rubber industry (hoses, belts, or similar applications).
  • Experience with structured methodologies (PFMEA, A3, PDCA, CBS) and Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles;
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and digitalization/automation strategies.
  • Experience with CAPEX evaluation, ROI analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Exposure to global projects, technology transfer, and standardization practices.
