IT Service Owner Cloud BI

The IT Service Owner Cloud BI is responsible for ensuring a smooth operation of the ContiTrade's Business Intelligence solutions, including the elaboration of solution requirements, their implementation and on-going deployment.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Work in a challenging environment with a very enthusiastic team distributed across various countries and functions
• Implement, test, and document cloud-based BI solutions meeting stakeholder reporting requirements
• Align and implement the BI service architecture with business stakeholders, developers and service providers (incl. negotiating of support agreements such as SLAs or OLAs)
• Mange the BI solution lifecycle, covering release planning and deployments
• Monitor the BI solution to ensure smooth operation according to support agreements 

Solve complex problems by providing technical and operational support

To succeed in this role you’d need:

• Knowledge to design, build, test, release, and operate cloud-based BI solutions (such as Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks)
• Profound knowledge about Business Intelligence solution architectures (such as delta lake, lakehouse, medallion architecture)
• IT Service Management know-how (e.g., ITIL Foundation)   
• Academic degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification and work experience
• Working experience in provisioning of modern BI architectures, BI backend solution development, and IT service management
• Capable of collaboration in distributed working teams with business-, IT- and external partners in various countries
• Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken), German language skills desirable.
