Financial Analyst (Controlling)

Your tasks

 

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data from multiple sources—including financial statements, budgets, operational reports, and system-generated data—to support decision‑making and organizational planning.

  • Assess financial trends, uncertainties, and performance drivers by identifying potential sources of volatility, variability, and risk that may impact business results and long-term financial goals.

  • Evaluate risks and opportunities uncovered through data research, variance analysis, and financial investigations, providing insights into their implications on financial performance.

  • Prepare clear, accurate, and insightful analytical outputs, such as reports, dashboards, charts, and presentations, that highlight key findings, trends, and recommended actions.

  • Support internal audit processes by assisting with documentation, walkthroughs, and audit-related requests relevant to the accounts handled.

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data, performing validation checks and coordinating with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.

  • Complete assigned account reviews within the closing period, identifying necessary adjustments and preparing journal entries in accordance with established accounting policies.

  • Communicate and present findings and recommendations to the Accounting Manager and other stakeholders in a clear and structured manner, facilitating informed decision-making.

  • Recommend process enhancements to improve data quality, operational efficiency, analytical methodologies, and reporting procedures within the scope of responsibility.

  • Participate in projects focused on improving financial analysis, especially those related to actual performance reporting and deeper insights into financial statements.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA is an advantage.
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably with exposure to financial reporting, analysis, and month-end close activities.
  • Strong SAP knowledge, with hands-on experience across multiple SAP modules and expert-level proficiency in the FI/CO module.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (advanced functions, data modeling), PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proven experience in leading or contributing to finance-related projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, or analytical initiatives.
  • Exposure to working in a multicultural environment for at least two years, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
