Location: Quito, Ecuador (Hybrid)
Team Scope: Hybrid team based in Ecuador and Brazil
Reports to: Demand & Supply Planning Manager South America

We are looking for an experienced Demand & Supply Planning Coordinator to lead and coordinate a hybrid team responsible for demand forecasting, production planning, and international sourcing across South America. This role plays a key part in ensuring optimal inventory levels across all market warehouses in the region, balancing service level, cost efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop a hybrid Demand & Supply Planning team located in Ecuador and Brazil, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

  • Lead the demand forecasting process for South American markets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial, marketing, and finance teams.

  • Translate demand plans into feasible supply and production plans for two regional manufacturing plants.

  • Manage import planning from global manufacturing sites, coordinating lead times, capacities, and logistics constraints.

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels across all regional warehouses, avoiding excess stock, obsolescence, and stock-outs.

  • Monitor key supply chain KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turnover, and production adherence.

  • Identify risks and opportunities related to demand variability, capacity constraints, and supply disruptions, proposing mitigation plans proactively.

  • Act as a key interface between Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Logistics teams.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP processes.

  • Prepare and present analysis, scenarios, and recommendations to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager and regional stakeholders.

  • Take a leadership role in S&OP and S&OE process

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.

  • Proven experience in demand planning, supply planning, or production planning within a multinational or regional environment.

  • Previous experience leading or supervising teams, preferably in a hybrid or multi-country setup.

  • Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and production planning.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills; knowledge of planning tools is a plus.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams across South America.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent English is required; Spanish is mandatory; Portuguese is a strong advantage.

  • AI, Machine learning, Power BI are also advantage.

  • Available for business travels.
