Job Description

Join our dynamic Information Technology team as Service Owner for HSE & Communications Applications in the Business Applications department. As Service Owner, you consult business departments on the selection of fit-to-purpose IT solutions, being end-to-end accountable for the implementation, optimization, and operation of IT applications for corporate communications as well as health, safety, and environment (HSE) to ensure the efficient, secure, and future-proof use of the systems.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Assume end-to-end accountability for the HSE and communications applications and IT services at hand – from concept to implementation to optimization to operation;
  • Represent the central contact point for the HSE and communications departments with respect to all IT needs;
  • Establish and run a structured and customer-oriented demand management process;
  • Gather and collect IT requirements from the HSE and communications departments;
  • Analyze business requirements, translate them into technical requirements, and develop solution concepts;
  • Lead and support IT implementation projects in the area of HSE and corporate communications;
  • Manage all stakeholders throughout the entire project life cycle, identify and assess risks, seek problem-solving, and perform escalation management;
  • Drive technical innovation and (continuous) optimization after Go-Live;
  • Ensure that the current and future service requirements of customers are identified, understood, and documented in SLA documents;
  • Ensure that service performance reviews are scheduled, regularly carried out with customers, and are documented with agreed actions;
  • Manage the budget for the HSE and communications applications assigned; support processes for budget planning, forecasting, and monitoring.

Your profile

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, business administration or a related field;
  • Several years of work experience in IT and practical experience as an IT Product Owner, IT project manager, IT consultant or business analyst;
  • Experience in implementing (cloud-based) IT solutions, preferably communications and/or HSE applications;
  • Knowledge of communications and/or HSE applications;
  • Strong analytical and structural skills;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Business fluent in English (written and spoken);
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of working in a multicultural, distributed team environment.
