Are you passionate about creating safe workplaces and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced, hands-on industry? Join our team as a Health & Safety Specialist and play a key role in protecting our people, our fleet, and our business.

We’re looking for a safety leader who can build strong relationships, provide training, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, implement, and promote safety programs across all locations.
  • Conduct facility and fleet safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Lead accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis.
  • Train and engage employees in OSHA, DOT, and Hazmat safety requirements.
  • Maintain driver qualification files, permits, and fleet compliance records.
  • Monitor and enforce DOT/FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service.

Your profile

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of health & safety or DOT compliance experience (transportation or manufacturing industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven experience in safety audits, training, and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance software (e.g., TenStreet).
  • Ability to travel regularly between retail and retread facilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
