THE POSITION

The Apparel Associate will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, with a focus on managing apparel inventory and supporting the logistics needs of the marketing department. This role is responsible for coordinating the preparation, packaging, and shipment of marketing materials and apparel items, as well as managing inventory and order fulfillment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional initiatives and marketing campaigns requiring logistics support.
  • Coordinate the embroidery and heat transfer process, including design entry, machine operation and quality control.
  • Facilitate and track safety stock, coordinating with the Apparel Manager on reorder dates and quantities.
  • Support the Apparel Manager during promotional apparel activities and sales, providing orders and continual stocking updates, as well as assisting with company store inventory.
  • Write up orders, monitor inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of received and shipped items.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Pull, prepare, and pack orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Receipt and inspection of new inventory items, verifying quality and quantity.
  • General apparel warehouse duties, including organization, cleanliness, and routine equipment maintenance.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the apparel department.

Your profile

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with embroidery machines and apparel handling is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions written in standard English.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift 20-75 lbs. frequently and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Ability to bend, climb, squat, crawl, reach and twist frequently.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work overtime, as needed.
