System Technical Project Leader for AN (Iasi)

Your tasks

In the Architecture and Networking (AN) business area, activities relating to everything from seamless connectivity technologies and vehicle electronics to innovative high-performance computers are brought together. As System Engineering TPL you are responsible for delivering to Project Manager / TPL a R&D estimation and schedule of all System engineering activities, in reconciliation with the overall project schedule and the activities in the other discipline areas.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the team of System Requirements Engineers and System Architects;
  • Lead system requirements management to ensure on time execution of system requirements engineering activities in coordination with other disciplines;
  • Plan (incl. effort and resource estimation) work product development and control the System Engineering activities;
  • Monitor (timeliness and quality), track and maintain the System Engineering activities against the Project Schedule and report the project status according to milestones, by using standard reporting tools;
  • Create and update the System Engineering Management Plan, including Traceability Management Plan and thereby contribute towards the Master Project Plan;
  • Ensure and monitor the overall Systems Engineering process. Ensure conformity of Systems Engineering activities to the defined process and methods;
  • Ensure the achievement of the project goals in terms of scope, timing, costs and quality;
  • Establish and maintain close collaboration to system integration, verification and validation as well as to next level of realization;
  • Identify & remove blockers or escalate. Facilitate/support communication of team with stakeholders and internal/external customers;
  • Identify and mitigate risks by defining specific actions in your area of responsibility.

Your profile

You can be a perfect match to our team if you have: 

  • Engineering degree in a relevant field (Automation and Computer science, Informatics, Telecommunication, Electronics, Electrical engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.);
  • Relevant experience in roles like Technical Project Leader, Project Manager, Discipline Manager, etc.;
  • Strong background in at least one of the following areas: System Architecture and design, Requirements Engineering, System testing, SW Engineer, HW Engineer;
  • Experience with Embedded SW development;
  • Good planning and organizing skills;
  • Ability to structure and decompose complex technical topics in simple and easy subcomponents;
  • Good communication and interaction skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Decision making skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage pressure;
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.

Would be an advantage:

  • Knowledge of Automotive systems and products;
  • Knowledge of Automotive standards (e.g.: Communication, Diagnosis) and processes (e.g. ASPICE);
  • “Agile” and “V-Cycle” Development Methodologies;
  • Autonomous mobility knowledge.
